Strepera graculina (Pied Currawong)


Large black bird with bright yellow eyes, white undertail and white wingtips found throughout eastern australian mainland, in forests and woodlands. Has become well adapted to suburban areas, common and familiar.

Feeds on a variety of foods including small lizards, insects, caterpillars and berries. Be predatory on small bids, chicks, mammals. Aggressive and strong, a pest bird in most places.
