Renew your Membership or join SOWN
Now is the time to renew your membership of SOWN or to join if you receive the eNews but are not a full member. Membership for 2016/2017 is due for renewal on 1 July 2016.
Your membership is vital to SOWN as it is our only source of funds outside of grants. Also the size and type of grants that SOWN can apply for depends on having a strong and active membership base.
Financial membership of SOWN entitles you to many benefits, including: free plants from the nursery; the ability to borrow tools and equipment; access to other SOWN resources and plant information; and an incentive to become more involved in nursery and planting activities.
If you pay your membership through PayPal no action is required as the funds are deducted automatically and forwarded to SOWN.
If you have recently joined SOWN (since 1 April 2016), your membership will be carried over to 2016/2017 and no action is required.

To join SOWN, please fill out the online membership form at the link below and choose the relevant payment method.
Membership Cards
Members of SOWN will receive membership cards for 2016/2017. To collect your card you will need to come to the nursery on a Saturday or Wednesday morning.
The card will show your membership number and this may be used instead of filling out other details when you take plants or borrow equipment from the nursery.
Combined Nurseries Fun Day – 31 July 2016
To celebrate National Tree Day we will be having another Combined Nurseries Fun Day on Sunday 31 July from 9 am to 2.00 pm. So please put this date in your diary now.
This was a great event last year with talks, displays, demonstrations and wildlife and this year it will be even better.
