You are invited to a member’s meeting this Sunday about the zipline and tourism complex proposed by BCC at Mt Coot-tha and the Botanic Gardens.

SOWN members Di Glynn and Peter Hale will present an analysis of the zipline proposal. Discussion will include effects and impacts on vegetation, wildlife and heritage values as well as legal considerations around the proposal.

Time and Place: Sunday June 24th at 10 am at the SOWN nursery.

Members and friends of SOWN are welcome to attend. Please park in the car parks, or by the road, before the bridge.

We hope to see you there.

SOWN Membership Renewal

Now is the time to renew your membership of SOWN or to join if you receive the eNews but are not a full member. Membership for 2018/2019 is due for renewal on 1 July 2018.

Your membership is vital to SOWN as it is our only source of funds outside of grants. Also the size and type of grants that SOWN can apply for depends on having a strong and active membership base.

Financial membership of SOWN entitles you to many benefits, including: free plants from the nursery; the ability to borrow tools and equipment; access to other SOWN resources and plant information; and an incentive to become more involved in nursery and revegetation activities.

If you pay your membership through PayPal, no action is required as the funds are deducted automatically and forwarded to SOWN.

If you have recently joined SOWN (since 1 April 2018), your membership will be carried over to 2018/2019 and no action is required.

To renew your membership, please go to the MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS section of the SOWN website (www.saveourwaterwaysnow.com.au), where you can pay online or by post.
