Welcome to the Winter edition of SOWN Creek News.
This edition includes valuable information on drought tolerant plants and includes an update of our online plant database.
We would also like to remind our members about some of the great events and competitions we have in the coming months, particularly The Gap Raspberry Festival on 10th September and the SOWN Photo Competition which runs between August & October. Details of both these events can be found below.
Dont forget! Our National Tree Day planting event is on this Sunday at Banks Street Reserve, Newmarket. This event is jointly hosted by SOWN and BRAIN.
Lastly, you SOWN Membership renewal is now due! Please take the time to complete your membership form and return with payment to us at The Gap Ward Office (477 Waterworks Road, West Ashgrove) between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday or at the SOWN Nursery (57 Paten Rd, The Gap) between 8am-12pm Wednesdays or 9am-11am Saturdays.
