SOWN AGM is this Saturday
The SOWN Annual General Meeting will be held this Saturday, 9 December at 4.00 pm at Twahamwe Cottage, 57 Paten Road, The Gap.
All members and friends are invited to attend the AGM. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. We have nominations for all our positions. So please come along to help celebrate the end of a successful year for SOWN.
Get Planting
After all the rain and warm weather, its a great time to get out and get planting.
The SOWN nursery is open this Saturday from 9 am to 11 am and has lots of free plants available for members.
Like this Carex appressa or Tall Sedge that is bursting to get out of its pot and would rather be in the damp ground.
Mt Coot-tha Zipline
Brisbane City Council has awarded a tender for the design, construction and operation of a Mt Coot-tha Zipline. The project is yet to receive environmental and planning approvals.
The attached BCC letter provides information about the project and community information sessions to be held in January and February.
