Sharpen up for bushcare in 2010

Feeling a bit dull? Need to get a new edge to attack the weeds? Then be at the SOWN nursery this Saturday morning! Give your bushcare tools a new lease of life at our sharpening morning on Saturday 13th Feb. from 9am – 11am. And while you’re there, pick up a tray of plants and make use of this great rain!!

Please bring ONLY your bushcare tools for sharpening (ie. secatuers, loppers, mattocks). Replacement pullsaw blades will also be available. SOWN members only please.

SOWN tool sharpening session – Have your bushcare tools professionally sharpened at the SOWN nursery between 9am and 11am of Saturday the 13th of Feb. Remember to label your tools clearly with your name, so you get your own back! (SOWN members only please)

Corporate volunteers on Ithaca Creek – 26 Feb

SOWN’s corporate volunteer program is kicking off for 2010! Staff from Accenture are donating their time and labour to work on Ithaca Creek on Friday 26th February. If you’d like to assist, or even just come along and tell office workers how to pull weeds, you can join us at the bridge on Coopers Camp Rd, Ashgrove, from 8.30am to 12.30pm. All welcome!
