More than 30 SOWN members attended the Special General Meeting on Wednesday 6 March 2013 to discuss the future of SOWN.
Committee members Anne Jones and Robert Whyte tendered their resignations.
SOWN Vice President Adam Richardt was elected as the Secretary.
Members agreed it was vital to maintain SOWN’s two key services to members:
- providing free plants to members through the activities of the SOWN nursery
- supporting members’ on-ground restoration work.
It was agreed that other activities such as Ithaca Intact need to be supported by project funding.
Several members volunteered to take on administrative and marketing duties to help manage SOWN.
