Photography Comp 2006

I love the striking image of the sun and how it picks up the leaves of the seedling in the foreground as it struggles to grow amongst the old roots.

Having provided nutrients for a tree and a critter, this leaf has become a beautiful art piece and now is on its way to creating nutrients in the creek bed.

The rocks and the tree presented such an inviting scene, I couldn’t help but jump in and have a paddle with my camera and tripod!

When I look up the creek from where we play this is what I see, even though we need rain it is still a lovely place to be.

Because it looks great and fits in well with its surroundings.

This is taken where my brothers, sister and I like to play even when there is no water it is still fun to explore to see what creatures live there.

Kids love playing in and exploring creeks! The submitted photograph records the S.O.S. Minnow’s fateful maiden voyage. The “Skipper” Iris and the “Little Buddy” Mallee are at the helm.

This kookaburra was ruthless in his efficiency to secure his next meal and do his bit to keep the mice population of Enoggera Creek under control.

We went for a walk on fathers day and I loved these plants I think they look like fountains, so I asked dad if I could take a picture
