Vigorous woody climber that will ascend into the rainforest canopy. Compound pinnate entire leaves with 3 to 13 linear to ovate-lanceolate leaflets that have distinctive abrupt short points; juvenile leaflets have a few short teeth. Pandorea is after the Greek god Pandora, the name of the first mortal woman, on whom all the gods bestowed gifts. Found from fern gullies to open forest in all eastern states, South Australia, Western Australia and Lord Howe Island.
