Special General Meeting
Purpose: To elect two trustees of the SOWN Environment Fund
The Environment Fund currently holds in excess of $12,000 and is a significant asset of SOWN. The trustees have an important role as caretakers of the fund.
Currently we only have one trustee – Michael Bruhwiller. Chris Galbraith and Steve Toomey have been nominated and are qualified to hold these positions.
Members Meeting – Gossia gonoclada
Our speaker will be Tamara Taylor.
Tamara will tell us about the project to save the rare and endangered Gossia gonoclada – the Angle-stemmed Myrtle.
This plant occurs in early lists of the Three Mile Scrub and would be of use in the current plans to regenerate the scrub.
