SOWN Roving Bushcarers Group – We need your help

We are setting up a new SOWN Roving Bushcarers Group that will move around and work on various priority revegetation sites doing weeding and planting.

We will meet monthly at a different site each time.

We are looking for experienced and new SOWN members to join the Roving Bushcarers Group. If you want to join, or have a site in the Enoggera catchment needing help, please let us know at: info@saveourwaterwaysnow.com.au.

SOWN Roving Bushcarers Group – First Working Bee

Our first working bee will be this Sunday at Bowman Park, Bardon.

We will be taking out Dyschoriste, Singapore daisy, and other non-native invasive plants, along the frog creek. SOWN members and friends are invited to come along and help.

Time: 9.00 am – 12.00 noon, Sunday 8 July.

Place: Bowman Parade side of Bowman Park, Bardon. Look for the yellow SOWN marquee.

Morning tea will be provided.

Please wear sensible shoes, gloves and a hat and bring a water bottle. Tools will be provided.

Membership Renewal Reminder

Your SOWN membership renewal for 2018-19 is now due. Thank you, if you have already renewed. It’s also a good time to join, if you receive the eNews, but are not a full member.

Financial membership of SOWN entitles you to many benefits, including: free plants from the nursery; the ability to borrow tools and equipment; and an incentive to become more involved in nursery and revegetation activities.

To renew your membership, please go to the MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS section of the SOWN website or click the Membership Renewal link below.

Don’t forget to drop into the nursery to collect your new membership card. Bring your membership receipt or new card along to collect plants.
