SOWN Membership Renewal Reminder

If you have not already done so, now is the time to renew your membership of SOWN for 2017 – 2018 or to join if you receive the eNews but are not a full member.

Financial membership of SOWN entitles you to many benefits, including: free plants from the nursery; the ability to borrow tools and equipment; and an incentive to become more involved in nursery and planting activities.

To renew your membership, please go to the MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS section of the SOWN website or click the Membership Renewal link below.

If you have renewed your membership, don’t forget to drop into the nursery to collect your Membership Card.

Date Claimer – Corbie Street Park Group 30 Year Celebration

In mid-1987 residents met with Lord Mayor Sallyanne Atkinson in Corbie Street Park to talk about beautification and revegetation of Enoggera Creek. And its still going on 30 years later!

Please note the date and come along to help the Corbie Street Park Bushcare Group celebrate 30 years of rehabilitating Enoggera Creek and making a difference.

Time: Saturday 26 August from 1.00 pm.
Place: Corbie Street Park, Cnr Corbie and Vaux Streets, Ashgrove.

Thank you letter from LNP candidate

LNP candidate for Cooper, Mr Robert Shearman, and Shadow Minister for the Environment, Dr Christian Rowan, visited the SOWN Nursery on 2 August 2017. A letter of thanks to SOWN and our volunteers for their hospitality and the matters raised is attached.
