Guest Speaker is Kym Johnson from Bio-Security Queensland who will be speaking about “Invasive Weed Species”.
Members meetings will be held every two months.
The intention of these meetings is to provide a forum for you to express yourself within the organisation and meet other members. Members meetings will also provide a source of information from professionals with topics relevant to SOWN activities. Future meetings may take the format of two speakers, one professional or experienced person and one speaker from within the organisation, each presenting a short talk followed by a discussion. In our first meeting of this series the second speaker will be replaced by a discussion to decide the future structure and planning of these meetings.
The first meeting will commence at 10:30am Saturday 15 March 2014 at the Yoorala Street , The Gap at the SOWN CLUB.
After a brief introduction,
we will have a talk by Kym Johnson
followed by a discussion on how and when we should hold future meetings
finally we will end with a morning tea ( a small plate would be appreciated).
