Waterway Health Assessment Training (WHAT)
Use of a Horiba / Physico-Chemical Water Quality Testing
The next event in the Waterway Health Assessment Training (WHAT) program will be covering the use of a Horiba multi-probe to measure the physical and chemical properties of waterways. Come along and learn about pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, salinity/electrical conductivity, and turbidity. The day will cover the why and how, the importance of the ANZECC guidelines and how to interpret the measurements for the purposes of water quality monitoring.
This training is for catchment group members only and numbers are limited to 15 people. The event is fully catered for morning tea and lunch!
