opportunities and dilemmas with non-native woody plants in forest restoration.
Professor Carla Catterall is our guest speaker at the next members meeting, you may have seen her on the Norman Creek Restoration video. She is adapting her Professorial Lecture recently presented at Griffith University on the Role of Non Native species in Habitat Rehabilitation. Do those weeds have some benefit in our rehabilitation sites?
Our local speakers will be about one of the newest plots recently adopted after the last Clean Up Australia Day Planting on the Esplanade, Bardon. This plot has had input from three very different view on how to rehabilitate overgrown riparian zone vegetation.
See you at the SOWNY Club Yoorala St The Gap.

Hi Di,
Thank you for the email. Apologies for the slight delay in responding.
Unfortunately all our relevant officers are unable to attend that particular date to present on the planning bills.
We have however, just today placed some presentation recordings on our website (I’ve provided the link below). They are very detailed and targeted towards planning practitioners; however the Planning Reform Overview from Mr Greg Chemello provides a good overview of the reform agenda and what the planning bills mean.

Please let me know if that video is of assistance.
Please feel free to give me a call to discuss (sorry I went to email you but noticed there was no number).
Regards
Mary-Ellen

Subject: Presentation to Community
Hi
Would it be possible for someone from the Department to make a public presentation to the SOWN(Save Our Waterways Now) group and to the BRAIN group at the same time. A possible venue is Ashgrove Library, 24th September, 2014 at 7.30pm.
Could you let me know as soon as possible whether a presentation can be made so that I can formally book the room>
Thanks for your consideration.
Di Glynn
