Report on Clean Up Australia Day and upcoming events
SOWN’s event for Clean Up Australia Day on 4 March was a huge success with 135 volunteers and 1257 plants in the ground. You MUST click the story below for amazing photos by Nick Rains.
Oh, and we picked up more than a skip’s worth of debris from the creek.
A big thank you to all the volunteers and local community members who pitched in.
Coming up in the next couple of weeks is the first major planting for Fish Creek in 2012. Please join us on Saturday 31 March to continue our rainforest planting with BRAIN in Glenella Parklands at The Gap.
