LOCAL BUSHCARE GROUPS

Where is your local bushcare group?

Local bushcare groups of volunteers, associated with SOWN, Habitat Brisbane and local schools, are working on restoration of creek banks and adjacent bushland throughout the catchment, including on Enoggera Creek, Fish Creek and Ithaca Creek.

These local groups are always looking for new volunteers and members. Use the map below to find out about the local bushcare groups near you and how to contact them and get involved.

SOWN provides support to Local Bushcare Groups in the form of native plants, tools and equipment, auspicing activities and limited financial support. SOWN has developed Project Funding Support Application Guidelines. Please review these carefully before making an application to the Management Committee.
