Eye has a black cross

Length to 65 mm. Brown, grey or whitish treefrog with dark mottling and slightly warty rough skin. Iridescent green spots scattered over back. Back of thighs and groin mottled with bright yellow and black. Iris of eye silver with a black cross. Abdomen cream or yellow. Fingers half webbed, toes almost fully. Found in south eastern Australia, in most habitats except deep rainforest. Usually found above ground in trees and shrubs. Call is a penetrating loud long descending rattle. Spawns on the surface of the water, in small clumps or singly, often amongst vegetation.
