Finally. A soaking rain to make the ground squidgy and squodgy and ready to plant into. No excuses! Put a bit of living carbon into the moist earth, in your garden, on your site, in your neighbour’s yard, on the footpath.

We won’t get another chance like this with so many great species in the nursery busting out of their tubes. We really need to clear those benches for the summer propagations. Please help. Tell your friends. Join them up to SOWN. Free plants is a great incentive.

The SOWN Nursery will be open this Saturday 9 January 9am-11am. It’s absolutely full with plants desperate to be put into the ground.

So come along, say hi, grab a tray or two and get planting!

AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE NURSERY VOLUNTEERS.

All this lovely water is heading towards you
