SOWN undertook a community initiative to rehabilitate the entire seven kilometre length of Ithaca Creek between 2010-2012. This was called Ithaca Intact. You can learn more about it in the Archives section of this website.

It was the first time an environment project of this scale has been undertaken in Queensland. Ithaca Intact connected the community with the environment. The success of the project relied on the community supporting the planting, weeding and mulching of the SOWN groups on Ithaca Creek.
