Notice of SOWN Annual General Meeting

SOWN members are invited to come to the next BCC WHAT training day (Waterway Health Assessment Training). It will be all about fish and run by our own president, Leo Lee.

Don’t miss this opportunity for hands on training where you can learn more about the fish species that are found in our local creeks.

However, if you are interested, you need to REGISTER BY THIS FRIDAY to ensure there are enough people to run the training!

When: 9.00 am – 3.00 pm on Sunday, 10 September

Where: Cubberla Witton Catchment Centre. 47- 57 Hepworth Street, Chapel Hill QLD 4069

Cost: Free to catchment group members and lunch will be provided

Fish snapshot training will teach you techniques that can be used to assess the abundance and diversity of fish species. The aim of this activity is to collect information on the status and habitat requirements of fish in our creeks.
