Happy new year!
We hope you had a fun and/or relaxing Christmas and look forward to seeing everyone again at this year’s working bees.
Since we last met, Habitat Brisbane has kindly installed more coir logs to assist with planting up the steep slope – and as you can see, they clearly meet the approval of this handsome friend!
Our next working bee will be held on Sunday 15 February, at 10am.
We’ll meet at the Guides Hut end of the site, and our focus will be on weeding and readying the site for some more planting at our next working bee.
Please bring gloves and plenty of water.
See you there!
Mel, Jon and Rowan
p.s. Our spangled drongos not only survived the summer storms but successfully fledged two chicks!
