Wiry Panic Entolasia stricta is a straggling or shrubby wiry rhizomatous perennial grass to 1.5 m high on poor soils – usually in sandy or sandstone-based areas. Leaves with sheath hairless, blade 1-7 mm wide, very variable. Raceme of flowers 7 cm on branched spikes.
