Enoggera Reservoir Seqwater

Enoggera Creek

Group convenors: Renee McGlashan and Ed Bennett

This bushcare site is on Enoggera Reservoir land managed by Seqwater. It is the first bushcare site on Enoggera Creek downstream from the dam wall. The site links the Enoggera Creek wildlife corridor with the Two Million Trees planting 2012 and the D’Aguilar National Park.

Enoggera Reservoir Seqwater site was originally considered part of the adjoining Yoorala Street West site managed by Athol Brown. It was partially cleared of weeds from as early as 1996. The first large planting took place on 9 April 2016. See photo at bottom. In 2024 SOWN started working directly with Seqwater to manage the site. Another section of the site was cleared and then planted in February 2025.

The site is now maintained by the Yoorala Street West Buschare Group which meets fortnightly on a Friday 8-10 am. Please contact Renee & Ed at: yooralastreetwest.bushcare@gmail.com for a meeting point. Follow the group’s activities on their Facebook page.
