Eildon Hill is the site of a reservoir providing water to the local community. Prior to the construction of the reservoir in the 1930s the hill was a rocky outcrop. It is now a bushland with a mixture of native plants and weed varieties, including Cat’s Claw. It is a popular site for locals and has a great view over the city. They plan to meet at 6.30 am on the last Saturday of every month.
