The time to plant is now

The rest of the world is slowing down but at SOWN we are still busy, busy, busy. Enoggera Creek Ranger, Emily Brash, is asking all bushcare site leaders to contact her so she can visit their sites. So if Emily hasn’t visited your site yet, give her a call. Members, after a lean winter, we are happy to announce the SOWN Nursery has lots of plants ready to plant. We are desperate for members to pick up some plants from the Nursery before Christmas and get them in the ground. If seed collecting is your thing, there’s a new wish list of seeds we need for propagation. Plus, you need to know about the new herbicide arrangements. Please join us on a botanical walk with Bill McDonald in the Gap. Bill is leading a BRAIN walk at Glenella Reserve in The Gap to plan a major rainforest planting for 2011.
