Corporate volunteering opportunity
Save Our Waterways Now offers outdoor volunteering opportunities for corporate groups looking for a great day out.
Together with your colleagues, you can restore a critical section of Enoggera, Fish or Ithaca Creeks in Brisbane’s inner West. All SOWN corporate groups work in the suburbs of Ashgrove, The Gap, Bardon, Newmarket and Enoggera.

Tasks
When volunteering with SOWN you can expect to undertake a range of outdoor tasks including weed removal, mulching, planting and bushland regeneration.
Your corporate days are a great help to us with some of the bigger jobs that we can’t undertake during our normal working bees.
What to bring
- Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty – preferably long pants and a long sleeved shirt
- Wear covered shoes
- Bring a hat, sunscreen and insect repellent
- Bring water for the day
- SOWN provide all tools, herbicide and equipment and provide instruction in the safe use of these on site.
