Narrow-leaved Palm Lily is an erect, slender plant to 2-4 m which forms spreading clumps in moist shady positions. Occurs in rainforest and wet sclerophyll forest in coastal lowlands in southern Qld and NSW down to Sydney. Dark green leaves to 50 cm by 2 cm. Purple flowers in branching sprays from October to February. Only Australian Cordyline with black berries. Attracts birds and bees.
