Large shrub mostly around 3 m high, sometimes taller, usually with many spreading to ascending branches, in wet sclerophyll forest or rainforest margins chiefly on the coast and ranges. Occurs along creeklines in Mt Coot-tha Forest Park. The name means star-shaped hairs and broad leaves.

Habit

Astrotricha are shrubs, usually strongly erect, usually with a conspicuous indumentum of stellate hairs on most parts of the plant except the upper surface of the mature leaf.
