Why it’s bad A common weed of gardens, footpaths, roadsides and disturbed areas. Widespread but fairly harmless.

Control The smaller, innocuous weeds are often overlooked. Important because they can focus our attention on some of the smaller native alternatives.

Alternatives Replace with Love Flower (Pseuderanthemum variabile) – a key butterfly host plant or Australian Bugle, Native Plectranthus, Senecio, Eclipta, Acalypha.
