Presented by Bill McDonald, co-author of the famous Green Book - “Rainforest climbing plants”. At the workshop Bill will be:
- talking about the book
- showing participants how to use the book
- talking about local rainforest vines
- using local vines to demonstrate identification techniques
- teaching participants how to to recognise plants features, star hairs, domatia and so on
Please bring your copy of the new edition of “Rainforest climbing plants”.
Bring a hand lens if you have one, and leaves, fruit, etc from any vines you want identified.
In case of rain, much of the workshop will be held indoors. Bring wet weather gear for walking along the creek to look at vines.
