Group Leader: Barbara Buderus
Several groups have worked here over many years and in 2011 once again this site has become very active with major weed eradication on the creekbank and around the entrance to the nearby bushwalking trails up to Channel 7.
The site is one of the best old growth Waterhousea sections of the creek with upwards of a dozen 150 year old trees within a short stretch of creek, combined with deep pools, shady areas and open 'pocket' parks popular with locals.
The group is based around enthusiastic locals including Barbara Buderus and Karen Webster with help from MOTT's Kerry Walker and Ithaca Intact. More locals further up El Paso Street have been involved, including Beth Shields and Di Glynn.
